The rug is a very elegant and has an abrash on the rug showring variances of lighter and darker colors giving the rug an antique aesthetic.

Humza Jafri sold this customer a truly unusual 9x12 Serapi for a living room. The rug is a densely 4 ply knotted rug made with vegetable dyes. The rug took approx 1.5 years to make by hand. The rug is a throwback to the classic Persian designs in the city of Serab, which is why the rug is called Serapi. The floral motifs are amazing and very intricate. The colors are nectarine, rose, teal and beige.
