Humza Jafri sold this customer a classic Mamluk 6x9 rug. The rug was made with vegetable dyes and was made in Pakistan. This is an exclusive Mamluk with a navy magenta fuchsia field. The medallions are the jewels of the rug and have a kaleidoscopic motif.

The rug is made in India and requires a minimum of three weavers on a loom to make it within 5-6 months. The rug while looking basic and primitive is very textured in its blue. The rug also has amazing abrash which gives the rug an antique aesthetic.
