The rug is hand knotted and took a year and half to make by hand.

The rug is a classic Persian Bakshahesh design, the word Bakshahesh means gift or reward in Farsi. The rug has colors including navy, peach, nectarine, sage, and gold. The rug took about 2 years to make by hand.

The rug was made with all natural vegetable dyes including pomegranate and sage. The rug is 100% hand knotted and took a year and a half to make by hand. This rug was made with New Zealand worsted wool and is no longer in production.

The 8'x10' rug was to be a statement rug that would go in the study and the other 10'x14' rug would go in the bedroom and was to look like a rug from a French chateau.
