The rug is densely knotted and was made with natural vegetable dyes. The floral motifs are made with silk and the all over pattern is stunning

This customer was very interested in purchasing a classic Persian rug for their home. Humza Jafri sold this customer a rug that had an antique Heriz design and the rug had colors including red, navy, and ivory. This rug took over 6 months to make and is made with 100% wool and is 100% hand knotted. The medallion is wide and makes it easy to center the rug to balance out the room. It is a throwback to the antique Persian Heriz designs of the early 20th century.

Humza Jafri sold this customer a truly unusual 9x12 Serapi for a living room. The rug is a densely 4 ply knotted rug made with vegetable dyes. The rug took approx 1.5 years to make by hand. The rug is a throwback to the classic Persian designs in the city of Serab, which is why the rug is called Serapi. The floral motifs are amazing and very intricate. The colors are nectarine, rose, teal and beige.

The 8'x10' rug was to be a statement rug that would go in the study and the other 10'x14' rug would go in the bedroom and was to look like a rug from a French chateau.
